Today is a happy day (:

Went to the airport in the morning at like 10 with Lennis, Quek and friend to send loads of people off. Wilson was late(well almost) but the letter has been safely delivered to him so fret not (:

Terminal 3 is a quite a nice place and it's decorated with a Disney theme for Christmas :O It's also rather quiet, quieter(for the lack of a better word) than I expected anw. Thought it would be like filled with people especially during this time of the year but it seems I was wrong. Shall visit there again sometime soon! Watching planes take off from the viewing mall is an interesting experience as the standard occurance of a flight is about once in half and hour. Wonderful! It'd better off going to Terminal 2 ._.

I have the sudden urge to go East Coast Park and cycle. 'Nuff said.

I want a class chalet in Jan!

Just when you thought you could have fun and laze around all day after promos, you have PW staring right in your face. What with I&R OP and the WR due, all breaks and whatnots were used to just finish up everything. Life's a torture D:

Haha i think i'll finally update. After a bloody long time.

Well well first up, the stupid blocks. Wonder why I'm wasting time talking about them but well, even bad stuff deserve to be talked about from time to time so here goes.

Day 1 was econs in the afternoon. Well it wasn't so bad I think. Questions were weird but I think I can scrape a C or something. Hopefully.. haha but I shouldn't be so optimistic. Later get U D:

GP was pretty much ok... Not too good, not too shabby either. I find the compre hard D: shit.. Will make a mental note to improve English.

Physics in the afternoon was well, relaxing to say the least. I managed to finish the paper with 1/2 an hour to go :D *smiles smugly* . Er wait, I mean flip through the paper and do everything that you can do and then close the paper and sleep. Don't get me wrong :X Hahaha. I totally give up on the paper. It's purely to make people fail so there's totally no point in doing it ._. Even Lennis couldn't finish, which says a lot..

Math's cheem. Nuff said.

Chem was.. well quite screwed. Left most of the calculations blank cos I know i'll probably spend too much time on them and I was right. Sigh, think chem will only border btw pass and fail =/.

I've been neglecting this place for a long timeeeee. It probably is time to start blogging again.

I finally got the stuff I wanted to say for a very long time off my chest a few days back and I'm glad I said it. Can't stop myself from smiling for the rest of the day afterwards.

April's generally been a good month but it's ending real soon. It's 2 more weeks to dance night and I need to practice really hard to catch up. Sigh I don't think I'm really up to it, seeing that I keep forgetting steps that I just did 5 mins ago. Seeing how good everyone else is, I can't help but wonder how I got in. Everyone is improving at tremendous speeds and I'm just well... there. Maybe I'm not doing my best =/. Need to buck up and practice hard from now on!

I finally have a com to use! Been missing from the digital world for about a week so you can't blame me for not updating! :X

Lent my com to dy so I had no com to use so I spent the day at home staring at a black box watching 22 goons running around the pitch chasing after a white and black ball, or watching 2 ppl with flat sticks in their hands slapping a blur green object to each other and the rare moment when there was 10 ppl trying to throw balls into rings that no normal humans should be able to reach.

Anw it has been a busy busy week. With elections going on and the fervent campaigning of our fellow peers trying to win votes, the atmosphere is high once again. The usual mad rush to complete assignments, random faculty events here and there and for some taking some last minute shots and editing videos ensures that JC life is never boring. In short, JC owns high school flat (:

This probably is a time to blog about stuff that are longggggg overdue. If I don't do it now I probably won't bother doing it alr heh. Must keep this space alive xD

Thursday 20 March

Fac CIP day :D After all those long recces, it's finally here. Was pretty much fun all the way. My group had to break apart furniture and throw them away (yes I know it's such a waste =/) and clean up which just took a lil longer than 2 hours, so we ended super early and went down to help the other half of the class paint. Scraping is still the best thing to do man. Satisfying satisfying.

EDIT: Oh yea i forgot, went for Class dinner after the cip! Haha. Even though only 1/2 the class went, it was still fun. Went to watch a live band play and zi highed for awhile. Haha den went back to sit at waterfront and chatted. It's amazing how we can just sit there and chat for a few hours... Haha.

Talked to Sufen about many many different things. Gayed with Jingyu(ohno) and took many random photos!

Almost died during Physics test. Ok fine I died. It totally sucked can. I shall not complain anymore about the test. Went around helping ppl with campaign video I think. Workshop at 6.15. That's pretty much all that happened. Boring day boring day.

Lz's house warming party at his house! Haha. Almost full attendance :D I think that's the coolest thing about our class. Whenever there's an outing, everyone makes it a point to try and make it.

Zi highing at condos is a bad thing to do apparently cos you get complained within 5 mins. Sorry for making so much noise! D:

Ohohoh we played charades! Which caused all of us to nearly wet our pants and clutch our stomaches from laughing. It's fun to watch ppl act out Rambo, Tom Cruise and other cool and random stuff like "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!" Haha.

Lennis and I decided to stay over at Lz's hse haha. Ended up with everyone just sleeping.. so nothing special really happened. Oh oh oh Lennis had this really cool sleeping position.

I must say some are really really cool like the team imba one while others were just banners put up for the sake of putting up a banner. Haven't really found a really nice Artemis banner though =/ Ah well maybe more will appear on monday. *crosses fingers*

After watching all the campaign speeches and video for Artemis, all i can conclude that Artemis council is going down the drains. All those who can run didn't run and all those that cmi ran. Blah it'll be hard to choose ppl in. Right now there's only like 7 candidates that I find have potential =/

Other faculties are spoilt for choice. For Artemis, it's no choice. Sigh...

Anw anw i went to watch Leap Years today :D Haha. Rushed there after Fac CIP Recce and ended up waiting 15 min to board the lift to the 9th floor cos apparently the lifts at cine don't go to B1 on friday nights so I was stupidly waiting there for 10 min... In the end I had to join the horrendously long queue on the first floor before finally entering the cinema 25 min late :D How cool is that haha.

To top things off, cos my ticket wasn't bought with them, I had to sit in some random corner seat. Picture this: This guy rushing into the cinema 20 min into the movie, rushed to a corner seat alone like some emo kia and watching an emo movie..

Ah well, on to:

Movie's about some girl who's born on the 29th of Feb and on her birthday, she met this man and they promised to meet every 29th of Feb from that day onwards. She waited for like 3 birthdays or so for the guy haha. If my math doesn't fail me(hmm it may... considering how well i've been getting for math assignments), that's 12 years :O.

I've been busy lately. Well quite haha. Watched huangcheng.. Can't say much about it cept that the props was elaborate, the script as dam good but the overall feel of the play's just not there haha. After hc, lennis, lz and niyi came over to my house supposedly for mahjong but we ended up watching a movie (2 if you count lennis watching casino royale when everyone's asleep) and sleeping. It was ps3 next when we all woke up so basically we slacked the whole day away.

Oh yea I went to watch GSE perform at Esplanade too! :D SUPER COOL. I'm gonna go watch their ticketed performance on the 25th of April!! :D I'm quite excited really. Don't mind giving my virgin concert to them heh.

Lazing around the whole day's not something I should do but sad to say that's what i've been doing... I need to get up and exercise or something, burn away the fats! Dance them away :D

Speaking about dance, well, it's dam fun :D. Haha exhilarating, fun and tiring pretty much sums the whole thing up. Hah but I feel that i'm dam slow at learning the choreos ... Which means, I need to practise more! I can't dance as well as the rest but i'll work hard (:

I guess that's it for now, have to rush and get some work done. Or else Li Ann's gonna kill me D:

Life goes by so quickly. Too quickly. Everything moves so fast. Will there ever be a time when the world slows down? I really doubt so. I have this feeling of wanting to sit down, do nothing and watch ppl move on with their everyday lives again. Maybe it's because i'm lazy or something but i just don't feel the urge to rush and work to finish everything up like everyone else. Being caught up with the speed of JC life, you don't really have time to stop and think about anything else besides school.

I haven't really been listening during lectures and tutorials these days =/. Every time I enter the classroom of the LT I just feel like sleeping. If not I'll just take out a book or paper and start sketching on it... Haven't been able to understand much of what most lecturers are talking so I'll just shut off and do something else.. It's time to start listening and catch up somehow!

Omg O level results are released today!!!

Dam scary. Surprisingly, 4G topped the level LOL

One of the lousiest class in the level managed to top and credit has to go to TanYK. We must all go thank him! I got A2 la omg. That's like 4 grades above expectations? Omgomgomgomg super happy. I think at least 1/2 the class got A1 for HCL.

It's a rather contradicting day =/ people rejoice over good results while others emo over theirs. It's weird when you see your friend not getting their own ideal grades and you can't help but feel sad and not know what to do. Anw cheer up duck (:

Hopefully everybody got what they wanted (: if not, don't fret! A level and diploma is more impt so jiayou! Haha

JC life is hectic beyond hectic. With all the tutorials that needs to be completed, faculty sessions and cca stuff, it's a wonder that you can leave school by 5.30. I'm so tired after I reach home everyday, I just bathe and then plonk onto the bed till I fall asleep.

The school seems to be filled with people who's birthday is on Jan 18! There's like Qi Han(didn't know until he walked past and told me xD), Yang Xuan I think and loads of other ppl. It's like you can hear birthday songs every break...

I'm now stuck between joining huang cheng, gefang, (even though both auditions are over i think) band or council. So many options, it's super hard to decide. Maybe in the end i'll join council! Needa find ppl to campaign with though. Haha.

There's an OG study session later in school at 11 and I'm not sure if I wanna go =/ I feel like jumping onto the bed and falling back to sleep xD

What else can I say abt today besides FUN FUN FUN?!

Jumpstart day 3 came to an end today with songs and cheers! Weee all the college songs are now stuck in my head ._. It'll take an uber long time to get rid of them ._. There's so many la! And they expect us to remember how to sing so quickly -.- Heck la, they are nice :D

Dance today was, er, cheem... It was the most difficult dance! But we only had like 30-40 min to learn it lol. I shan't elaborate cos i'm super noob D:

Den it was games! Haha. There's this game called Balls of Fury where we had to commando crawl (more like slide) across a very very wet canvas holding a ball and crawl back. You don't even need to crawl la haha, just jump and you'll slide a loooooong way. Duper fun!

We played swoosh too. We sat on benches that has been soaped and we slide to each other and played scissors paper stone and gain a point if we managed to get across.

Hands down was another fun game. We had to carry ppl through holes made using raffia strings without touching those strings. There's no way it can be done without touching the srings lor lol. We still won :X

Yesterday went out with UTP ppl to iceskate :D

3 years since I iceskated lollll. I still remember I fell at least 5 - 10 times in Sec 1 la. Apparently, once you know how to rollerblade, iceskating is much easier. So i know how to iceskate afterall lol. I NEVER FALL YTD! Great achievement xD

Countdown was er, a little disappointing. Except for a few others, we were like the only ppl zi-highing, screaming and wishing ppl happy new year lol. But who cares, we're happy and thats all that matters haha.

So sad i couldn't go to ecp =/ guess there's always next time.

Zomg.

Yesterday, which is about 10 min ago, Quek invited a bunch of us to his house for a bbq! And for some reason he has a lot of faith in our stomachs so he left a whole bunch of food for us to bbq. In the end there were at least 50 sticks of satay and 4 fish left ._.

Had a fun time stoning in his room for awhile while his family bbq-ed downstairs. Then around 8+ we went down for our turn to have a shot at making food chao da. All the stuff I cooked turned black T.T

Quite a fair bit turned up, including Adeline, Vanessa, Cassandra, Chiewlin, Aaron, Wanyi, Yi Ren, Yi Chen, Jess, Louis, Hui Hui, Yan Han, Charlene, Qian Wei, Pei Yi and not forgetting, MING HUI! First time seeing him in 4 years. He hasn't changed a bit haha.

An experience beyond words (:

Everyday was super tiring la. A usual day was from about 5 in the morning to 12 at night and the temperature was like 5 degrees at night and 30 in the day? It's crazy... Everyone wore like 3 layers of clothing at night and had to take them off 1/2way as we trekked. Freezing nights and boiling days, that's Australia for you.

A short summary would be:

There were flies and mosquitoes everywhere.

If you think this is alot, take a look at those below.

Our shelter was only a plastic sheet.

The food sucked. (mostly)

But the scenery,

Simply breathtaking

That's about the only consolation for the torture we went through. Haha.

The flies are imba i tell you. There's at least 50 to 100 hanging on each pack was we trekked and they kept buzzing around our heads. Super super irritating. They chionged our food, face, nose, ear, mouth and eyes. They don't just fly at you, they swarm! We got so used to them that we just let them crawl on our faces until they piss us off.

The mosquitoes were horrendous too. I got bites everywhere and I do mean everywhere. Face got, hands got, legs got, even butt also got. They can totally penetrate through 3 layers of clothing with ease, but at least they are dumb ._. So much easier to kill than their Singaporean relatives. My lips swelled to 3 times it's size cos it got bitten while I was asleep T.T Dam it la.... I got a picture of it :D and hell no i'm not showing it to anyone ._.

This was what we shit in. One reason why my butt has bites.

Enough of the random stuff. A blow-by-blow entry coming up :D

DAY 1

After a 6 hour long flight and watching Underdog, we arrived at Perth International Airport :D . Next was a 7 hour long bus ride to Walpole -.-

Perth is super windyyyyyyyyyyyyy la zzz. All it needs is just one gust to send you trembling in a corner. Thank god for those fleecy thingies that we brought.

We got off at this really remote part of Walpole and had to carry our uber bulky luggage and trek another 1 km to our campsite. Inside, after some hasty introduction, we started unpacking stuff to bring and stuff not to bring(chocolate and cards oops)

Then the instructor taught us how to build our shelter aka a BV. I doubt thats how you spell it but heck xD. A plastic sheet, some nylon chords, pegs and veggieballs were all you needed. Doesn't look much but it sure is stronger than I expected.

We started cooking dinner at about 6.30pm. We ate at about 10. Yay efficient people : D

Day 1 is a boring day =/. The fun starts the next day (:

A stroll along the beach, feeling the wind against your face and listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the beach is really soothing (:

It's nice to escape from all the troubles of the world once in a while. Everything slows down and you can leave your worries behind, at least for some time.

Anwanw it's been utp the whole week non-stop. Books books and more books. It's been going smoothly, well sort of, better than the previous 2 weeks haha. Other than those irritating Sec1s, i'm starting to enjoy it.
What a big fat lie. It used to be physically tiring. Now it's emotionally tiring too.

I've always asked myself whether it was worth it and I have never failed to reassure myself that it will be. Lately, I'm beginning to doubt myself. There's so many questions left unanswered and I don't even know if there is one.

Lying down and staring at the ceiling for some time, I tried to sort out my thoughts, but still, I don't even know what I want right now, or how I feel for that matter.

Sometimes you'll get this feeling that everything will go wrong in the end. I do considering i haven't started mugging for chinese. Sheesh

You always wonder if the decision you make will go awry and slowly, you end up being indecisive, not wanting to make decisions just in case it's wrong. People are afraid to lead because the decision that they make affects the entire team and the team will blame the leader for making mistakes and eventually lose trust in him/her.

Is that why we are so afraid of making decisions? Or is there something else?

It's time to slap this blog awake again.

The pass week has been a hell of a roller coaster ride, with results out(damn) on Monday and Tuesday and Grad nite and ProEd nite on Thursday and Friday.

To hell with results lah.. Can't do anything about it alr, might as well just hope for the best.

So on with the happy stuff.

Grad Night

What else can i say about grad night? It was probably the best damn night of my life. Fun fun fun fun fun except for certain performances *coughzjdcough* that caused people to have full bladders 5 minutes after they went to the toilet.

Huihua is an imba dancer! He's like the only person in sync with the music(heh no offence to the rest of the dancers). I wanna learn to dance like that one day xD

ProEd Night

Worst ProEd Night ever. It's all the same old stuff over and over again and the emcees need to find something better to say. Same old harapan, same old yoyo guy. They need fresh ideas man, seriously.

I Hate Shopping For a Reason

Is it just me all do all guys find shopping difficult, like VERY difficult? It's like so dam hard to get clothes to wear for grad night, pondering over where to buy them and killing those oh so valuable brain cells. Walked around the whole vivo and still couldn't find something suitable. It's like either too ex or too, well ugly...

There's like so many shops for girls lah D: Turn your head in any direction and you can see at least one. Shopping for clothes for them will be like super easy ._. Heh duno maybe i'm wrong haha

After 4 years, it's finally time to graduate and move on(I know it's just going over but still got that significant step forward lor, not to forget a slight change in the population xD ). Butttttttttt there's still results and i don't really think it will be good. Heck heck heck I must be be optimistic and hope i can get below 2.5 =/. Considering how hard math was, it seems really far away a goal...

After monstrous math, poisonous physics and killer math, finally no more mugging. Math seriously was out to kill us la. Donno which imba teacher set such a bloody hard paper. I skipped like donno how many questions -.- Dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. But at least paper 2 was much easier(relatively) to paper 1. Bloody hell if there's no moderation i'll............

Anyway anyway anyway, we went out and as usual played pool and after that watched Resident Evil 3 thingy. It's quite nice actually with all the chopping off of people's head and blasting through the skulls of cute innocent zombies. Ah hah that sounds so sadistic -.-

Still got so many things to watch! Suddenly so much time on hand.. seriously dunno what to do.
